For Thanksgiving this year I wanted to get crafty and create my own Fall Tablescape. I gathered inspiration from the project ideas on JOANN’s website and landed on a few various pumpkin decorations. I wanted to keep the project simple since it’s a little last minute and I knew that I didn’t have time for a complicated DIY project!
Supplies used:
Flowers in fall colors of your choice, glue gun/glue sticks, scissors, large white carvable pumpkin, craft knife, small white pumpkin, grapevine, small succulent pumpkin, LED mini lights, white candles, glass vase
For the center of my tablescape I created a vase out of a large white carvable pumpkin from JOANN. I first drew a line where I wanted to carve the top off. Then I ended up using a craft knife and scissors to carve the top off of the pumpkin. I added a variety of fall colored florals to it and love the way it turned out. It makes such a statement!
Next I wanted to add a simple addition to the small white pumpkin. I chose a few berries, and other stems and glued those onto my grapevines. I cut off the excess grapevine and glued the decoration I made onto the pumpkin. It took about 5 minutes and added such a fun touch to the table!
I just love the way my pumpkins turned out! I placed the already made succulent pumpkin from JOANN on the other side of the table to even things out. Lastly, I added a strand of twinkly lights and candles for added cozy touches.
What do you guys think of the final table?? It’s giving me all the fall vibes!
I’m so happy I chose to DIY my Thanksgiving tablescape this year. JOANN made it easy since they had all the supplies needed to create my vision. Are you crafting this holiday season?? I have a fun holiday project that I’ll be working on next. I cannot wait to share it with you all soon! Happy Thanksgiving!
