Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and a Happy Mother’s Day! We’re back from our short road trip over to Naples for the weekend. We just had the best, most relaxing time! Friday afternoon we checked into our room at the gorgeous Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club. We were in heaven because our penthouse suite walked right out onto the beach. We were like “Is this real life?!” We could of stayed there forever! I definitely recommend checking out this hotel if you are planning a getaway to Naples.
It was about a 5 minute drive to 3rd Street S where we had dinner reservations that first evening. We loved the drive from our hotel. We passed by so many gorgeous homes (i.e. mansions) with perfectly landscaped yards adorned with all different colored bougainvillea. We walked up and down 3rd Street where we discovered this perfectly pink building and staircase (naturally we had to take photos here! It was a bloggers dream.)
Around 6:30, we headed into dinner at SeaSalt, one of the top restaurants in Naples. It did not disappoint! Upon sitting down for dinner, they brought out a basket of bread and an assortment of different salts. Our waitress told us to pour some olive oil onto our plates and sprinkle some of the salt into it for dipping. It was such a unique touch and obviously delicious! We both ordered pasta for dinner (seriously..diet starts today!!) that had the most delicious truffle sauce. Afterwards we went back to our room to enjoy the gorgeous sunset!
