Travel Diary: Palm Beach

A couple weekends ago Mike and I had the opportunity to stay at the gorgeous Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach. It was the perfect birthday getaway! Palm Beach is only an hour away from where we live but somehow neither of us had ever been before. Now we can’t wait to go back! Everywhere we looked was perfection. From the palm tree lined streets to the cookie cutter homes with gorgeous landscaping. Pretty flowers were literally everywhere!

The first night we had dinner reservations at the hotel restaurant, Café Boulud. We were lucky enough to score a table in the hotel’s courtyard. Tip: ask for the cocktail in the copper pineapple! If you follow along on snapchat you saw how spectacular that was. It’s a delicious drink for two! The restaurant also delivered this adorable birthday cake to our room. It was a complete surprise and such a thoughtful gesture!

That following morning we ventured to the very iconic Worth Avenue. We loved that our hotel was in walking distance of everything and that we didn’t need to drive all weekend. In case you don’t already know, Worth Avenue is an upscale shopping district in Palm Beach & a must-see destination if you’re in South Florida! Chanel, Gucci, Cartier, Saks, Louis Vuitton… just some of the shops we walked by that day. We did make a purchase at the LV store, I mean it was my birthday after all 😉 . When in Palm Beach… right?

That night for dinner we ate at the restaurant Bice (see what I wore here), another restaurant in walking distance from our hotel. The food and ambience was amazing here. Definitely recommend dining there as it is on the top 10 list of restaurants in Palm Beach. If we had an extra day in Palm Beach we would of rented bikes from our hotel. Sounds like we will just have to visit again soon!!
