Siesta Key Trip

If you’ve been following along recently then you most likely saw glimpses of our Siesta Key trip with family! It was such an amazing week and one of the highlights of our summer. I wanted to share a recap from our trip as well as some of our favorite places we visited. If we weren’t soaking up the sun at the beach or pool, we were checking out all there is to do in the cutest Siesta Key Village (think colorful buildings & adorable shops and restaurants!)

We LOVED the “City Grits” appetizer @ Another Broken Egg Cafe. I also recommend the Bananas Foster Belgian Waffle (SO yum!)

The pool at Aloha Kai, where we stayed for the week! These villas are available for rent, just a few steps away from the beach, and really clean.

If you follow me on snapchat (username: kristinbrophy), then you saw my ice cream mishap (it melted everywhere!) but it was totally worth it (@ Big Olaf Creamery)

We managed to catch the gorgeous Siesta Key sunset every night except for one night because a storm rolled in. So beautiful every single time!

My initial thoughts were “Is this real life?” and YES it is, you guys. There is a mini donut stand in the middle of Siesta Key Village. You must go!

“Drink coffee, sleep later” // loved this cute wall we spotted while walking around the village. Perfect Insta moment with my mini donuts 😉

Pontoon boat ride with my fiancé and family! We saw dolphins and some gorgeous houses along the ride.
