Guest post: Mission to Paris

Hi! I have a special post to share today. My sister wants to tell you a little bit about something that is really close to her heart. She doesn’t blog, so she was kind of excited to be writing her very first post to share with you guys today!

Hey Fancy Things! My name is Jenni Brophy. I am Kristin’s older sister 🙂 I wanted to share with you all that in August, I will be moving to Paris France for one year to intern with a Christian missions organization called Campus Crusade for Christ International.

CCCI has ministries all over the world and in many different capacities. They are sending me to Paris for University ministry because it is one of the top 5 locations that are in need of missionaries. We believe that if Paris is reached for the gospel, it could impact all of Europe and the surrounding areas since there are so many different people groups in France (99 different people groups to be exact!).

While over there, my team and I will be teaching and training
the French leaders who are already in the ministry as well as sharing our faith on two University campuses. There are 700,000 university students in Paris and only .5%
go to a local church. Paris is called “the city of lights”, but it is also a city
of incredible spiritual darkness.

In order to leave in August for my assignment, I have to raise all of my funding. There are 3 ways that you can help me: 1. Pray for the Parisians to have open hearts to the gospel
2. “Adopt me” as your missionary and send me to Paris by giving a financial donation and
3. Tell others about my financial need.
