I was really excited to hear that this month we would be getting a Gossip Girl Birchbox, having watched the show since the beginning I had high expectations that they would include some glamorous high-end products. But, I was pretty disappointed in
this month’s box.. not gonna lie.
Here’s what I got:
1.Shu Uemura– Cleansing Oil Shampoo: Smells good but I don’t love it,
it’s just another little shampoo sample, nothing special in my opinion.
2.Dior– Miss Dior Eau de Parfum: I know Dior is a very nice brand but
I don’t care for this scent all that much.
3.Dior– Diorshow Extase Mascara: love the mascara, I already have a favorite
mascara so I won’t be switching but It is a nice sample. This made me not hate
the box as much!
4.Miracle Skin Transformer Body SPF 20 in Glow: This is a tinted lotion for
your skin to hide blemishes and scars, I think it’s a nice idea but I’d rather use my self-tanner.

This month had me wondering if I should cancel my subscription, I’ve accumulated so many samples of things that I don’t use! I’m going to wait and see how next month is and then decide. I do still think $10 is a good deal If you like a few things in the box. What did you get in your Birchbox? Did you love it or hate it?

I got a smashbox glitter liquid eyeliner in brown, I’m guessing in place of the mascara you got. Everything else was the same and just ok, definitely not a great birchbox.
So sad! I’ve been considering Birchbox for awhile now because I see it all over the blog world, but it’s posts like these that just make me second guess it. I just don’t know how useful some of the items would be!
This is why I cancelled. My boxes were never great and I only really used one sample out of everything I got over the months. I drew the line when they sent me laundry detergent.

I feel the same way, I was super excited when I first got it and then once I started to digest what was in it I quickly saw the excitement begin to fade away. It was just ok, and I’ve only gotten 3 so far and I only really liked the first one. The last 2 have been sub par so I’m giving it one more month to see how it goes.
They just suck people in to buying samples this craze is funny. I score most samples I seen on bbs free
I got the same exact box as you did, except for the dior mascara! You are one of the few I’ve seen who did get that sample…most got the stila eyeliner. This month was the breaking point for me… I cashed in my points and then cancelled June’s box. I agree with you that the body/concealer cream isn’t all that great. I am sitting on SO many samples that I won’t be using, haven’t read good reviews…
I wish this was a great box. I cancelled my subscription last month. Hopefully they get better and I can reactivate it.

wow i got all different things! I got some french shampoo and conditioner and antifrizz treatment. Stila eyeliner, nail polish and face cream! i love that its different for each person 🙂
I canceled birchbox after the first month, wasnt impressed. What is your fave mascara? Im using Benefit’s They’re Real and while i dont hate it, im not totally in love with it either.

i was REALLY disappointed. even considered canceling mine too. i just feel like they are slacking.
