I was a little disappointed in Birchbox this month! The box arrived about two weeks late. Thankfully, Birchbox was nice enough to award everyone with 100 points (which equals $10) towards full size products to their store. The theme of this month’s box was “party ready” items to help you prepare for your Christmas/new years festivities! This box wasn’t my favorite, but I did like 2-3 of the items inside.
Here’s what was in my box:
1. Benefit- The POREfessional: This cream is designed to hide your pores. I found that it created a good base before applying my makeup. I really like this product!
2. Harvey Prince Yogini perfume: I didn’t like the smell of this perfume at all.
3. Jouer moisturizing lip gloss: I really like this mini lip gloss, it’s the perfect shade of pink. I like Jouer products, and I would definitely consider buying this lip gloss.
4. Nuxe multi usage dry oil shimmer: This product is really nice, and would last you a really long time because of how little you have to apply. But I never use body shimmer, I didn’t know that anybody did?!
Extras:
Showstoppers- Fashion tape: This is a handy item to have around, I actually needed to use it over the weekend. I didn’t find the tape was all that strong though.
EBOOST: Basically this was a little packet of orange powder that you add to a cup of water and is supposed to deliver a boost of energy and immunity. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m not usually a fan of those type of things. Anyone try this yet?!
The good thing is that since it came so late, the January box should be here pretty soon and hopefully I’ll be posting a much better review for that one! What all did you get in your December Birchbox? xoxo
