{Chicken Marsala with angel hair pasta, olive oil, basil & oregano}
Last night I was really in the mood for something new and semi healthy. One of my favorite things to order at an Italian restaurant is Chicken Marsala yet I’ve never made it at home so I decided it was time to try it. It was my first time and It turned out fantastic! I thought it would be difficult and require a lot of ingredients but It was the complete opposite. I ended up needing chicken & Marsala cooking wine, the other ingredients were one’s I already had in my kitchen. If you’re feeling sick of your chicken recipes.. I definitely consider this one!
Here’s what you need:
Chicken breasts
Flour
Pepper, Oregano
Olive oil
Marsala cooking wine
Mushrooms
{Mix flour with oregano & pepper. Bread chicken.}
{Pour a table spoon of olive oil on your pan and saute chicken until browned, flipping them over once.}
{Once chicken is browned, throw mushrooms in (I used about 2 handfuls), pour in 1/2 cup of Marsala cooking wine. Let simmer. After 5 minutes,flip chicken over once. Let simmer for another 5 minutes.}
{Serve with angel hair pasta mixed with olive oil & herbs!}
We also had Caprese for our appetizer..One of my favorite appetizers. I’ll be posting that recipe sometime this week!
